Gabriele Barrocas is a junior at American Heritage High School in Delray Beach, Florida. She is a passionate science researcher currently focusing on the neuroscience and genetics of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She authors The Real Spectrum blog and podcast, a space where she writes about her experiences as a sibling to someone on the spectrum and research about the disorder. Her knowledge of ASD has fueled her drive to further contribute to discoveries in the field of Autism research and to promote stronger awareness for the disorder.
